Consecutive Interpreting
Consecutive interpreting
Consecutive interpretation caters for visits and smaller gatherings enabling a more immediate and interactive contact between the parties.
How it works
In consecutive interpreting mode speakers deliver their speech in short passages with pauses. During the speech the interpreter takes brief notes and in the pauses translates the speech in the language of the audience. This type of interpretation does not require any special equipment.
When and where to use
Consecutive interpretation caters for smaller format meetings:
- Business visits and negotiations
- Working lunches and gala-dinners
- Tour of production facilities.
